Laughter is contagious. As long as its appropriate, it draws strangers to give you a warm smile as if thanking you as you share your joy.

Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.”
When their fortunes were restored to them, the Israelites were beaming with joy and they were having a chorus of laughter. Nations noticed it and nations testified about it. I’m trying to contemplate about some instances wherein I envied someone else’s hearty laughter as he/she huddles and giggles with his/her friends. Laughter can become such a velcro. I know of so many people who got to know God with fellowships opening the way for them. They had good laughs with their new friends and they were eventually ushered to the reason behind such great fun.
A lot of people have been robbed of so many reasons to smile, much more laugh. Joy is something not many people have. If as Christians we guise ourselves in an all too serious disposition to make ourselves appear holier, forget it. It shoos people away. People encounter a lot taskmasters everyday-their parents, teachers, and bosses. The last thing you would want them to think is that you are part of that deck. So have fun, you have the reason to be joyful.
I am glad I’m having ounces of laughter with so many people around me. 🙂
