29 After these things, Joshua son of Nun, the servant of the LORD, died at the age of a hundred and ten. 30 And they buried him in the land of his inheritance, at Timnath Serah in the hill country of Ephraim, north of Mount Gaash.
What can be sweeter than a much awaited promise fulfilled? Or in the case of Joshua, what can be sweeter than being buried in very thing promised to him? A whole generation of promise recipients dint get to live to see to see what God has promised them, not even Moses (disobedience). But for old Joshua, he not only enjoyed the sight and smell of the the land called land flowing with milk and honey but he was buried in its very soil.
For God, a promise is a promise!
